What we do here, and what we will not
Separate tactics for ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Bing Copilot and Google’s AI overviews, because they read different sources and reward different things. On Growth and up, the fan-out check takes one question, has a language model list the narrower questions an AI search could split it into (a model’s list, not queries any engine was seen to run), and shows which passages of your page match each one.
On every plan, the entity check reads whether your site says plainly who it is and whether the profiles it lists name it back; a Google Knowledge Graph lookup is built and switched off until connected. On Growth and up, free: upload the file you export from Bing’s AI Performance report and see which of your pages Copilot cites, and the grounding queries behind them, as Bing counts them.
On every plan, AI readiness also lists a page’s sources, quotations and figures: in a 2024 study (GEO, KDD 2024) adding them was among the edits that most raised a page’s visibility in AI-written answers, measured on the study’s own test engine and, for 200 of its questions, on Perplexity in 2023, not on any engine as it runs today. It counts what is on your page and predicts no citation.
Which sites AI answers cite for each of your topics, from DataForSEO’s records, is built and priced, and switched off until we switch that paid data source on.
The specialist behind it
- Generative-engine optimisationGetting cited inside AI answers, engine by engine.
Most of the market means “Google and ChatGPT” when it says AI search. The generative-engine agent produces separate tactics for five, because they cite different sources and reward different things.
produced output in a recorded live run on 4 October 2026, on a site we own built, and did not produce output in that run. The whole engine.
What each tool costs
Every tool, its price in credits and the plan it needs, is on one page: every tool’s price. The plans themselves: pricing.
